Understanding Payment Cancellations at Cloudfloat

When Can a Payment Be Cancelled?

Customers have the flexibility to cancel (delete) a payment request at anytime during the assessment period. This means that as long as the payment request is still pending or in review, it can be canceled (deleted) directly by the customer.

Key Points:

  • Draft or In review: Customers can cancel payments at this stage.
  • No Approval Yet: As long as the request has not moved to approved and scheduled, it can be cancelled.

When Is a Payment No Longer Cancellable?

Once a payment request has been approved and scheduled, it is locked in and cannot be canceled by the customer. This ensures that payments remain reliable and suppliers can trust the scheduled transactions.

Key Points:

  • Approved: Payment can no longer be canceled.
  • Scheduled for Processing: Cancellation is not possible.
