Get Paid - A Smarter Way to Receive Payments

Our Get Paid feature is another step toward making Cloudfloat your all-in-one finance platform.

With Get Paid, you can create, send, and collect payment for business invoices without leaving Cloudfloat. Once customers are in your Cloudfloat network, you can start to automate your inflows and outflows and gain real-time cash insights across both sides of the transaction.

How It Works

  1. Add Your Customer to Cloudfloat
    • From the main dashboard, navigate to the ‘Customers’ section in the left-hand navigation.
    • Enter:
      • Business name
      • Business email
      • Contact name
      • Phone number
    • The system will automatically search and validate the customer as a legitimate business with a registered ABN.
  2. Generate the Invoice
    • Once the customer is validated and added, go to the Get Paid section.
    • Select the customer and enter the invoice details based on the order.
  3. Review & Submit
    • Double-check all information is accurate.
    • Submit the invoice, it will be sent directly to the buyer via email.
  4. Customer Payment Options
    • The buyer receives an email with the invoice details and payment options: Pay in Full or Pay Later with flexible terms.
    • If they choose Pay Later and are not an existing Cloudfloat customer, they will be prompted to complete our simple 3-step registration process before payment can be processed. See how to register here.
  5. You Get Paid Instantly
    • Regardless of which option they choose, you receive payment immediately.
    • Your customer benefits from payment flexibility, while you maintain strong cashflow.
