Why Overdue Invoices Are Cancelled on Cloudfloat

Updated over a month ago

Invoices uploaded to Cloudfloat must be no more than 60 days past their due date to qualify for flexible payment terms.

We enforce this policy to protect our users and maintain smooth operations:

  • Risk Management: Older invoices carry higher risks, including disputes, fraud, and non-payment.

  • Supplier Relationships: Paying long-overdue invoices can strain supplier trust and future terms.

  • Cash Flow Relevance: Our focus is on supporting current operational needs, not chasing stale invoices.

Important:

  • If an invoice is more than 60 days overdue, you can still pay it in full through Cloudfloat.

  • If it is overdue and submitted on flexible terms, the request will be automatically cancelled.

How to Resubmit an Overdue Invoice

If your invoice is cancelled for being overdue, you can still submit a new payment request—but it must have an updated due date within the 60-day timeframe.

Steps:

  1. Log In: Access your account at [Cloudfloat Login].

  2. Select “Pay”: From the left-hand navigation menu, click “Submit Invoice.”

  3. Get an Updated Invoice from Your Supplier:

    • The new due date must be within 60 days from today.

    • Only the supplier can issue the updated invoice; do not alter the invoice yourself.

  4. Upload & Submit:

    • Upload the invoice, verify all details, and follow the standard payment request process.

Compliance Notice

  • Cloudfloat does not accept tampered or altered invoices.

  • Invoices with manually changed due dates will be detected and rejected.

  • Submitting falsified invoices may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.

Example:
If today is August 11, your invoice due date must be June 12 or later. Any invoice due before June 12 will be automatically cancelled.

Best Practices

  • Check your invoice’s due date before uploading.

  • If payment terms change, request a new invoice immediately.

  • Submit invoices early and use scheduled payments to avoid last-minute cancellations.
