Account Suspension and Reactivation Policy

Updated this week

What Does a Suspended Account Mean?

A suspended account means that some or all Cloudfloat services are temporarily restricted. During a suspension, you may be unable to:

  • Upload new invoices

  • Process supplier payments

  • Access or use your approved credit limit

A suspension is not the same as account closure and is usually reversible once the underlying issue is resolved.

Common Reasons for Account Suspension

Accounts may be suspended for one or more of the following reasons:

1. Missed or Overdue Repayments

Failure to make scheduled repayments on time can result in an automatic or manual suspension to prevent further exposure.

2. Outstanding Balances or Arrears

If amounts remain unpaid beyond agreed terms, access may be restricted until the balance is addressed.

3. Verification or Compliance Issues

Incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent business or identity information may trigger a suspension while additional checks are completed. In some cases, additional verification steps or supporting documents may be required before the account can be reactivated.

How to Reactivate a Suspended Account

Reactivation depends on the reason for suspension, but typically involves one or more of the following steps:

  • Settling overdue or outstanding amounts (in full or via an agreed repayment arrangement)

  • Completing required verification or compliance checks

  • Providing additional documentation or clarification

  • Paying any outstanding fees

Once the required actions are completed, your account will be reviewed and reinstated where appropriate.

How Long Does Reactivation Take?

Reactivation timeframes vary depending on the issue:

  • Payment-related suspensions: Often resolved within 1โ€“2 business days after payment is received

  • Verification or compliance reviews: May take several business days, depending on complexity

Cloudfloat will keep you informed throughout the process.

Can I Still Make Payments While Suspended?

Yes. Even if your account is suspended, you can (and should) continue to make repayments toward any outstanding balance. Doing so helps speed up reactivation and protects your account standing.

Preventing Future Suspensions

To avoid account suspension, we recommend:

  • Making repayments on or before their due dates

  • Monitoring your wallet balance and payment schedule

  • Keeping business and contact details up to date

  • Uploading accurate and valid invoices only

  • Responding promptly to any requests from the Cloudfloat team
