Q. What is Working Capital?
A. Working Capital is a Cloudfloat funding product that gives your business fast access to cash. You pick an amount, confirm in two clicks, and the funds land in your Wallet in seconds. You repay in equal monthly instalments over 6 or 9 months, with a 14-day grace period before the first repayment.
Q. Is Working Capital the same as revenue-based financing?
A. No. Working Capital is a limit-based advance. The amount you can draw is based on your approved funding limit, not on your revenue. Repayments are fixed monthly amounts that don't flex with your sales.
Q. Who can use Working Capital?
A. Customers with an approved funding limit. An approved funding limit is a higher, pre-assessed funding line we offer based on your business profile and activity on Cloudfloat.
Q. How do I get an approved funding limit?
A. You can apply through our team — a $300 annual fee is charged to proceed, we'll review your activity and business profile, and for limits above $30,000 we'll ask for 3 years of financials. Once approved, you'll sign a short set of documents to activate your limit.
Q. What terms are available?
A. You can choose 6 months or 9 months. All instalments in your term are equal.
Q. How fast do the funds arrive?
A. The money lands in your Cloudfloat Wallet in seconds, drawn directly from your available funding.
Q. When does my first repayment happen?
A. You have a 14-day grace period after the funds land in your Wallet. Your first instalment is taken on Day 14, and the rest are taken every 30 days after that.
Q. What fees will I pay?
A. There's a processing fee plus GST. Your exact fee, total to repay, and instalment amount are calculated at request time and shown in-app before you confirm. You never commit to anything without seeing the full schedule first.
Q. Can I claim the GST back?
A. Yes. The GST charged on the Working Capital processing fee is claimable through your Business Activity Statement (BAS), just like any other GST expense in your business.
Q. Is there any cashback?
A. Yes — once you've fully repaid your Working Capital advance, we release 15% of the processing fee back to you as a cashback. It's our way of rewarding customers who repay in full.
Q. Can I withdraw the funds as cash from my Wallet?
A. Not right now. Cash-out from your Wallet isn't available in this version of Working Capital. If this changes in future, we'll let you know in-app.
Q. How will Working Capital appear on my account?
A. When the funds arrive, you'll see a transaction labelled "Working Capital deposit". Each repayment will show as "Working Capital repayment X of Y" (for example, "Working Capital repayment 1 of 6"). Once you've fully repaid, you'll see a "Working Capital cashback" credit for 15% of the processing fee.
Q. What happens if I miss a repayment?
A. Missing a repayment means you're in arrears. We'll reach out to help you get back on track. While you have any overdue amount, you won't be able to submit a new Working Capital request until it's resolved. Missing repayments may also affect your cashback eligibility — the team will let you know your options if this happens.
Q. Can I have more than one Working Capital advance at the same time?
A. Yes, as long as your total exposure stays within your available funding. If a new request would push you over your approved funding limit, it won't be approved.
Q. Do I get a confirmation when the funds land?
A. Yes — we send you a confirmation email as soon as the funds are deposited into your Wallet. You'll also see the transaction in your account immediately.
Q. Can I pay my Working Capital off early?
A. If you'd like to repay early, please contact our team via the in-app chat and we'll help you understand your options.
Q. Where can I see my repayment schedule?
A. Your instalment amounts and due dates are displayed in-app before you confirm your request, and you can see the schedule in your account once the advance is active.
Q. Is my data safe?
A. Yes. Working Capital uses the same secure Cloudfloat payment infrastructure you already use for your day-to-day activity on the platform.
Q. I still have questions. Who do I contact?
A. Reach out to us in the Cloudfloat app chat, or email support [email protected] — we're happy to walk you through Working Capital.
