Overview
Working Capital is a Cloudfloat funding product that gives your business fast access to cash when you need it. Pick an amount, confirm in two clicks, and the funds land in your Wallet in seconds. You then repay in fixed monthly instalments over 6 or 9 months, with a 14-day grace period before your first repayment.
Working Capital is available to customers with an approved funding limit — a higher, pre-assessed funding line we offer based on your business profile and activity on Cloudfloat. Approved funding limits aren't available to everyone, but your usage history helps us understand your business and assess eligibility over time.
How it works
Choose your amount. Go to Funding in the navigation, select Working Capital, click Request capital, then choose the amount.
Pick your term. Choose 6 months or 9 months of equal monthly repayments.
Review and confirm. You'll see the processing fee, GST, total to repay, and the instalment amount before you confirm.
Funds in your Wallet. The money lands in your Cloudfloat Wallet in seconds — drawn instantly from your available funding.
Repay monthly. Your first repayment is 14 days after disbursement. After that, repayments continue every 30 days until the term is complete.
Eligibility & approved funding limits
To use Working Capital you need an approved funding limit. This is a higher, pre-assessed funding line we offer based on your business profile and activity on Cloudfloat.
You'll be eligible to draw Working Capital if:
You have an active, approved funding limit.
You have no overdue repayments on any Cloudfloat product.
The amount you're requesting, plus your existing activity, stays within your available funding.
Approved funding limits aren't available to every customer. The best way to be considered is to apply for an approved funding limit and keep using Cloudfloat for your day-to-day payments — your activity helps us understand your business and assess eligibility over time.
Repayments & the 14-day grace period
You repay Working Capital in equal monthly instalments over the term you chose (6 or 9 months). The first repayment isn't due immediately — there's a 14-day grace period after the funds land in your Wallet.
Day 0 — funds arrive in your Wallet.
Day 14 — first instalment is debited.
Every 30 days after that — the remaining instalments until your term is complete.
We'll also send you reminders and a confirmation email when the funds are deposited, so you always know what's happening in your account.
Fees, cashback & an example
Working Capital has a processing fee (plus GST) that's shown in-app before you confirm your request. Your instalment amount, total to repay, and schedule are all displayed clearly before you commit — no surprises.
Two things worth knowing before you draw:
Claim the GST back on your BAS. The GST charged on the processing fee is claimable through your Business Activity Statement, just like any other GST expense in your business.
15% cashback on the processing fee. Once you've fully repaid your Working Capital advance, we release 15% of the processing fee back to you as a cashback — a real reward for repaying in full.
Here's a simple example:
|
|
You request | $25,000 |
Processing fee | $3,750 |
GST on fee (claimable on your BAS) | $375 |
Total you'll repay | $29,125 |
Term | 6 months |
Monthly instalment | $4,854.16 (six equal payments) |
Funds in your Wallet | $25,000 on Day 0 |
First repayment | Day 14 |
Next repayments | Every 30 days after that |
15% cashback on fee (released after full repayment) | $562.50 |
This is an example only — your actual fee, cashback and instalment amount are calculated when you submit a request and shown in-app before you confirm.
What you'll see in your account
When funds arrive, your transaction list shows "Working Capital deposit".
Each repayment shows as "Working Capital repayment X of Y" (for example, "Working Capital repayment 1 of 6").
You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as the funds are deposited into your Wallet.
Once you've fully repaid, you'll see a "Working Capital cashback" credit in your Wallet for 15% of the processing fee.
